I picked this up cuz the vinyl was clean even though the cover was in some kind of flood.

Been messing with some different tubes and I been using this as the reference. I already had this one and Forever Blue, but just ordered San Fransisco Days on Headrott's recommendation, and saw that on Amazon they are going for a buck or something, so I also picked up his self titled cd. Seems like you can get a bunch of Chris Isaak on Amazon for almost nothing right now. Check it out.

Msabot1: I have Heart Shaped World on CD, forgot to mention it in the post, and you are correct I have never heard a Chris Isaak release that I didn't like, and I'm playing a few alot lately, the SQ is amazing.

Pman: it's funny, I was not all that enamored with the Keith Richard solo stuff until I upgraded my system substantially, then the subtleties of Keef's recordings finally came out and hit me. Especially on vinyl. I wish I could find the second one on vinyl, but that was when vinyl was supposedly dead and they're impossible to find. Same with Dylan's World Gone Wrong, but I did find one that a buddy of mine had from Europe that he sold me reasonably. That time period in the early 90's was tough for vinyl.

Talk Is Cheap is my only K. Richards on vinyl.

I'm a fan of Chris Isaak as well and I'm still trying to locate a nice vinyl copy of is 1st album.

I have Heart Shaped World and Silvertone on vinyl.

I run across Heart Shaped World quite often for around $5. The next one I see I'll pick up for you.

Listened to some Chris Isaak and some Gary Numan tonight. I have to say that Gary Numan's "The Pleasure Principle" has better fidelity that 99.5% of all albums out there. It will kick your a$$!! If you haven't heard it take a listen!

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
