Wow! Haven't played this in awhile. Amazingly dynamic and open production.

The Best is yet to Come with Patti is priceless!

For some strange, unknown reason, the more I listen to the new music, the more I buy the old music.

I forgot I owned this, and 'found' it last night with my BR concerts. Just ripped it to the music server, and it sounds GREAT. Even the regular CD is an excellent recording.

Yea..old dad was a great lover of songs...he upgraded his gear, that was slightly out of my price range..so he ended up laying on me two Mc30 mono amps...one Mc240 stereo amp and one MX 110 pre-tuner Z series preamp...this gear sounds exceptional when playing back live recordings...like it was designed for it...

Was listening to a band from the late 80's - 90's from Boulder Colorado this morning that I haven't listened to in a long time: The Samples. Good uptempo white boy reggae. Self Titled album.

Pman, wasn't Michael Schenker in UFO? Anyway, 51 years ago today Charlie Watts played his first gig with the Rolling Stones. This vinyl has a cool booklet inside and some early hits. I haven't found the names of the group members inside but I found Andrew Loug Oldham's name as manager all over. Sheesh.

Michael Schenker (born Michael Willy Schenker on 10 January 1955 in Hannover, Germany) is a German rock guitarist, best known for his tenure in UFO, in addition to his solo band. He first rose to fame as an early member of the Scorpions, then achieved fame in the mid-1970s as the lead guitar player for UFO.

    Here's another LOL

I admit to being stuck in the 60's and 70's. Most of today's music doesn't move me like the music I listened to when I was a young-en.

    Fifty Foot Hose ~ Cauldron

    From Wiki;
Fifty Foot Hose is a psychedelic rock band that formed in San Francisco in the late 1960s, and reformed in the 1990s. They were one of the first bands to fuse rock and experimental music. Like a few other acts of the time (most notably the United States of America), they consciously tried to combine the contemporary sounds of rock with electronic instruments and avant-garde compositional ideas.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

The Kitchen Cinq ~ .....Everything But

About 25 years ago I picked up this LP in Port Jervis, NY.
It was in poor shape but after playing it I feel in love with it.
In time I recorded it on a stand alone CD recorder and ran it through
a computer program to help clean up. Then burned it to another
disc. Fast forward till this past weekend and while looking for it
on the net I discovered that a German co. had finally released it
on CD. It arrived in today's mail.
