Special Day for Us

Attachment not found.its been a very special day for Carla & i. Our little girl turned 18 today :) She has been such a joy to us. She has brought us so much laughter each & every day. I remember putting her on my gas tank on my motorcycle at 2yrs old & riding down our street. She always insisted in me bringing her with me when i plowed driveways for family & friends. Always being beside me at the campfire while mom is in the house with her friends. Hanging onto the belt wrapped around dad-going to Boothbay HRBR on a Stoneys motorcycle run. Or riding with guys from the clubhouse. Fishing on the lake. Pulling the air horn on the big truck & scaring. So many memories that brings smile ear to ear. I told her no boyfriends till 30 LOL.. Dads little girl is grown up to be a beautiful young woman. (Minus the fact of having boyfriend). We are blessed with her. I couldnt ask for a better natured daughter that took after her mother in so many ways in personallity & looks....thats the things on my mind today :) i love her dearly. Happy Birthday Rebecca

    Hello Randy,its crazy how time flies.My boys are 33 and 30,seems like yesterday they were turning 18.

    Thanks for sharing, Happy Birthday. Amazing how fast time goes by, my daughter is on the couch next to me right now and while she is only 7, I understand 18 will be a blink. My buddy told me when she was born and for the next few years to hold off on the big weekend projects, yard work, time on weekends that is irreplaceable and he is absolutely correct.

    Thanks all. She had a wonderful day too :) Her older sister took her to Portland to a 18+ no alcohol club till midnight. Sister planned this months ago & they had a blast.

    Boyfriends? Yeah, that's a downside! I just found out my 16 year old has ONE! And it's not what I was expecting so SOON as I'm old school on dating. Don't believe in it. Save it for College where I won't know about it! lol

    Cnh our daughter came to us at 16 to talk about dating. We have a great relationship with our daughter. Thats all parents can do. Now she is 18 that will not change. I too wasnt to fond of the dating thing also !! But id rather we were open about it & making right decissions seems to have worked out.. Even though she is 18 now, i still will be dad & not change :smile:
