What is this multipin cable for Polk?

I thought these are serial cables for computers.

Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze.

    My guess is it's for the SRT's.
    Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

    nope. SRT uses normal speaker cables. this cable looks like a standard parallel cable. reminds me of my old printer

    That is a DB25 used to connect the preamp/processor to the subwoofer for the RMDS1 system.

    Okay that settles it.
    So a serial or parallel cable is NOT the same?

    The Polk cable has a low capacitance rating in order to not roll off the upper frequencies, but other than that it is a standard DB25 type cable.
