No kidding. When I saw the listing I got pretty excited, but then realized I would need to buy the guys house as well if I wanted somewhere to live after I got kicked out of mine!

I doubt there will be any steals as its an estate service handling all the goods. Gave them a call on the Bat pre and tube amps today and he said hell be pricing them on Monday. I'm guessing they'll want close to what they sale for used.

Thats usually the way those estate sales operate. I live about 20 miles away and might go take a look just for curiosity sake.

Ok... I'm trying to obey the rules here... :) But I dont know any other way to do this without pumping up my post count... I'm honestly trying to get these into the hands of a Polk lover.

I'm selling these RTA 12's and can't get much interest... I'm giving them away at this price - please some member pick them up so they arent stuck in a garage somewhere to die! I just dont have the room and really need the cash!

    http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/ele/3600541408.html

I'm somewhat flexible on price since I need these out!! Located in Fenton, MI.

    Thanks guys...

Classic fail at obeying the rules...

So - would you prefer I set these in the garbage pile as opposed to trying to somehow get the to a forum member?

Or would you rather I just post utter random nonsense until my post count is above the threshold that changed *after* I was already registered.

I mean seriously, go through my past posts - I have really tried to help out the community by posting part numbers for upgrades suggestions for alternate dampening materials for drivers while documenting my rebuild on these... and all I get is flack because I care enough about the speakers to try and get them into the hands of another Polk lover?

    Serious bummer man... seriously...

I know there are some folks here who appreciate what I'm trying to do - and its not make a buck by the way... I'd likley sell them for $100 if I could find someone local... I'm losing my tail on them, but just dont have space for them anymore.

The problem isn't with the link to the ad you posted, but more so that you should have kept your mouth shut about them being yours. You know it's wrong so why come out and say it?

Escher, sometimes life isn't fair. If it were, I'd be answering Gwyneth Paltrow's phone call right now.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch ...

    Pinnacle PS SUB 225 12" 225W Front-Firing Powered Subwoofer - $164.99
    http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4134749&clickId=569233311&affiliateId=1129&affiliateCustomId=FWblyust

Ends either ON tomorrow or AFTER tomorrow.
Better to wait on the Polk PSW505 deals, but if you have to have a sub and all you have is $165 in your pocket, here you go ! More than good enough for a kid's gaming rig. Or a mother-in-law.
