The SACD's I am going to spin this evening. Just received all of them in the last few days and can't wait to hear them all.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I have listened to all of these titles pictured and can say that they ALL sound phenominal! I highly recommend all of them in you enjoy the SACD. The first I listened to was "Wheels of Fire". White room and Politician should be standards that everyone should listen to from this SHM-SACD. Amazing! "Learning To Crawl" is excellent! Particularly "Back on the Chain Gang"! "Blood on the Tracks" sounds a lot better than the Sony SACD release and the Sony version sounds pretty good.

These SACD's sound so smooth, natural and real that you will think the musicians are right there in your room!

BTW, that BJ "The Stranger" from Mo-Fi? Save your money. I wasn't too impressed with that one. I haven't directly compared it to the redbook version but it didn't sound like a Mo-Fi recording and I listened to it in DSD and on the redbook layer. This is my first Mo-Fi album that I was actually not impressed with.

Supposed to start in a couple hours. Around here they're saying at least a foot, but the wind will be the real problem. That's ok, I got the garage cleaned out enough to get both cars in, and tomorrow will be dedicated to painting in the basement. We picked out a nice mid-grey that should look awesome for the theater room. Now just deciding between a projector or a big ole tv.

Ornette Coleman...The Shape of Jazz To Come (180g vinyl)

Amazon ranked this as the #1 jazz album of all time. Not sure I agree with #1, but it is an awesome session.
