We used to go to a theater in Georgetown d.c. when i was in the army to see midnite showings.

People were not yet dressing up like the characters, but the synchronized shouting of lines at the screen was in full effect, Im pretty sure the georgetown students were the main force behind it, because there were an awful lot of college age chicks, so much so, I never felt uncomfortable with the subject matter.

The theater owner would drive his harley down the aisle when meat loaf as eddie busted into the movie on his bike, the first time was pretty jarring.

I still think the the first part with brad and janets adventure, through the time warp and tim currys song was about as fun as a musical movie gets.

Hope he does, thats exactly what several houses in our neighborhood did.

Mac green not only played the album, but opened the windows, had a fan blowing the curtains out, turned offall the lights, except for a strobe light.

On the southside of atlanta in the 60s, kids could roam the neighborhood at will, collecting candy with no worrys, like to think there are many places left like that.
