All -

We're redoing out listening/watching room and I need to get a longer version of the cord that goes to the Panazonic Viera TC-P60S30 TV.

The one that came with the set is about 2 meters, and we probably need double that.

Any ideas on where to look?

Thanks!

    That's a captive power cord, isn't it?

Not sure what you mean by captive, but I just had the same issue. I just picked up a 15 footer from Monoprice. The only issue is the "holder" they use on the OEM cord would not work. It fits on the cord, but I guess the part that plugs into the TV isn't as long (assuming you get a 90)

No issues with the cord falling out, and its on a fully articulating mount

Captive means hardwired as opposed to an IEC type connection.

Monoprice will do the job for a good price. I like PS Audio Punch cords, and they can be had used for a good price.

What style connector does the TV use for the power cord?

My panny plasma has a standard IEC connector, but the TV end is in a sort of tunnel. It's too small for any aftermarker IEC cord I've seen.

What if you got a right angle adapter, then used any power cable?

I actually went with the 14awg version of that (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10228&cs_id=1022809&p_id=7686&seq=1&format=2)

Like I mentioned, the part that goes into the TV is long enough, but you won't be able to use the plastic clip to hold in into place. Otherwise Zingo's idea would work fine too - although it would be unecessary since you can just buy a cord that works without adding adaptors.
