My early impressions are very favorable. I decided to get them for nearfield listening in the wee hours of the night on the weekends, to (hopefully) not disturb my neighbors. I'll listen to my main setup until midnight or so, then switch to my pc setup. Next I'll be getting a quality DAC to improve things even more...
Reasonably priced too from what I could find. Sounds like something I might throw under the tree for the kids.

I have been looking at Grados but I don't think the cord is long enough to reach my listening perch. What do you do about that?

I have the SR80i's. Cord is 6 ft. If you need longer, you can extend it with a male/female extension cord. Best $100 i spent in stereo equipment. Robbie Robertson; how to become Clairvoyant.
