Give Band of Horses a listen - another lesser-known, but unique sound. I've been listening to them quite a bit lately. Gonna play an entire album for my commute today - Cease to Begin.
Check out their other albums - Everything all the Time and Infinite Arms. Good stuff.SDA SRS 2.3TL's

That album sounds like early REM because Peter Buck is featured on "Don't Carry It All", "Calamity Song", and "Down By the Water". Meloy has said that REM was the primary influence when writing the songs also.2.1: PC>Schiit Gungnir MB>Schiit Freya Noval>NAD C-270>Ascend Acoustics Sierra-1, HSU STF-2 5.1: HDMI Bitstream>Denon AVR-1910>polkaudio RTE55, CS350-LS, RT3, HSU STF-2, Visio M55-F0 -
