2nd hand speakers and warrenty

If I pick up a pair of speakers 2nd hand and need to replace a driver will Polk honor the 5 yr warrenty, the model is only 3 yrs old. If they don't honor the warrenty do you think they will offer drivers at a discount?

    Thats a good question though... I'd call Polk and ask, ca't hurt anyway.

    Just make sure you tell them up front that you're a club member. We recently had some knucklehead pissing and moaning that he didn't get the discount. Polk CS is good but the're not mind readers

    Directly from Polk's Limited Warranty:

    POLK AUDIO LIMITED WARRANTY
    Polk Audio, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser
    only     that this Polk Audio Loudspeaker
    Product (the “Product”) will be free from
    defects in materials and workmanship for
    a period of five (5) years from the date of
    original retail purchase from a Polk Audio
    Authorized Dealer. However, this Warranty
    will automatically terminate prior to the
    expiration of the five (5) years if the original
    retail purchaser sells or otherwise transfers
    the Product to any other party.
