My left LSi9 woofers cut out for 5 min last night ...

Very weird and I'll be watching them for the next few days to see if it happens again. Last night as I was swapping in some new Signal sub cables, I noticed that only the tweeter was active on the left speaker. These are modded btw.
Checked the speaker and IC connections and those were okay. hooked up the right speaker cable to the left speaker to make sure it wasn't the NAD acting up and it was the same for a sec and then the woofers came back on. Hooked everything back up and the system is fine again.
Any thoughts on what may have caused it? Perhaps a loose connection in the xo? There are 2 giant Daytons that are connected to the xo via leads. I haven't cracked the speaker open yet. If it happens again, I will though.

I would figure that ben would've put a healthy amount of solder on all of the connection points. I would take a peek inside to see if anythings awry though.
Sounds like a connectivity issue though.- Computer Rig -

Yeah you're probably right. If it happens again, I'll crack it open - I just don't want to potentially have to mess with it myself and then break something lol.Dali Optikon 1Mk2

Some photos as I can't see anything obviously disconnected or anything. Soldering looks in place and caps seem to look ok.Dali Optikon 1Mk2

I have a soldering iron - but I haven't really done any soldering.
Can't get those blue connectors off of the big caps either, to take the xo out.Dali Optikon 1Mk2

OK - you see the 2nd picture up there? the red wire got disconnected from the binding post. Do I just solder it back on?Dali Optikon 1Mk2

UPDATE: Did a quick read-up on basics of soldering and then carefully soldered the wire back onto the lead. Looks solid and the speaker seems to be back to normal now
I suspect that the wire got disconnected but was making intermittent contact with the lead.
Random question - some of the screws on the speaker have gotten a little stripped from removing / replacing the drivers. Can I get replacements from Polk?Dali Optikon 1Mk2

Are the screws stripped or are the holes?- Computer Rig -

As mentioned on the phone, it's just some of the screw heads that are a bit stripped. I'll call CS one of these days and see if I can get some new ones. Thanks for the support dude!
I think soldering that wire back fixed the issue - speaker seems to be good now.Dali Optikon 1Mk2
