Can Jolida.net be trusted

Yeah this is still messy. I'm glad you're happy with your Jolida now. I received a Jolida Music Van CDP and the same tube integrated a couple of months ago and both have been performing flawlessly! Knock on wood! The packaging from China was almost bullet proof!

I do hope that they resolve all this. It's hard for me to fault them since I know the people and the Chinese side more intimately than anyone here and because I am a China scholar--which, of course, counts for 'nothing'! And I am also aware of what the American Jolida side is doing in China? It's pretty easy to take the American side as an American and a lot more difficult to grasp the problems and the contradictions involved here. As a teacher I have this same problem in explaining to my students how poverty in the 3rd world developed historically in many areas that were hardly poor before the mid 1700s? But that is another story.

American students from the affluent suburbs of Mass are the most difficult to convince that the current global economy 'as it is' is rooted in a deep past that is often not very pretty? Because 'history' is, in some ways, not an American thing. We can see this in the news daily?

So I'm just going to wait this out.

I don't doubt what doro is saying about the drop in value. But that won't last long because this kind of gear is NOT getting any cheaper or won't in the long run. It will bounce back...this is just a blip.

Timaudio.com have Jolida CD Players selling on their site as well as others like Shanling.The Jolida JD 100 is selling for $429 and the upgraded JD 100S is $529 (Double Tubes). The Jolida music van Mk IV is showing for only $819. Is this place for Real ? Has anyone had any dealings with Timaudio ?
