    Hi fellas,

I've asked Anthony to send the cables back to me. Once I receive them, I will determine if we will continue with the demo.

    Best,

    Gavin

    This is embarrassing!

Still no reviews from Heiney9, Nikolas812, Pearsall001, McLoki and Amulford. C'mon guys, I know you're better than that.

Maybe if you guys get your reviews posted and people promise to ship in a timely fashion (as in no excuses unless you're dead), Gavin will be gracious enough to allow the demo to continue.

Tell me about it. I guess you won't see me championing anything like this in the future.

You know something, I haven't clicked onto this thread for some time because I knew it was going to be more than a short stint before my observation time kicked in. I look tonight and this is what I see? Gavin sounds like he's agitated and ready to pull the plug. Not cool.

Those that haven't posted a review need to get on the ball......right now.

Hey guys, my apologies for not submitting a review earlier. Gavin is one stand up guy for allowing such a cable demo.

The CVT-1 cables are another example of MIT's great cables that will do justice to anyone's system. These cables give you a sneak peek into their more expensive offerings yet maintain a very reasonable price. They conveyed the music from top to bottom with forcefulness yet maintained a very subtle quality that made listening a pleasure. The bass was exceptional, the midrange had a nice sparkle & the top end was very clear & articulate. I wouldn't hesitate to give these cables very high marks & are worth an audition in your system.

I really thought I had posted my comments months ago. I'll have to find my notes. Sorry to disappoint guys, but if I can't find my notes not sure I can remember specifics. I will say this is a great opportunity and I hope it can continue.

He's not pulling the demo because of lack of reviews (although that is embarassing especially on my part since I thought I posted something) but because of lack of interaction and people hanging onto the cables too long.

Let's get it together so this can continue.

I know, but MIT did the right thing by pulling the demo. If they were my cables they wouldn't have last as long as they did. I was up next and looked forward to comparing them to my shotguns.

    Lovely. Just lovely.

I still have not heard back from the other demo they had going a couple of months back. Anybody else?

One would think I'm more than qualified, gear wise.

Michael (McLoki) wrote to me explaining why he did not write a review. He never had the chance to listen to them and sent them on. I was not aware of this and therefore offer my apology to Michael for "ragging" on him.

Sorry to the group for not maning up to to begin with and just say I did not have the opportunity to demo the cables. (they were never unboxed in the time that I had them)

Anyway - thank you for the opportunity even if I did not make the time to demo them when I should have and sorry for the delay to others who were waiting for their chance to check them out.

Okay fellas, I requested to have the cables sent back to me on 11-22-2010 and I finally received them back here at the factory today. In fairness, theywere shipped out to me in Dec. 16, but that still means the last person to audition them had them in his possession for 91 days and then didn't post a singe word about them... pro or con. This was grossly unfair to everybody on the list because by this time two more people would have been able to hear them and a third would be in the middle of his demo right now.

Do we want to continue this demo? If so, how can we avoid problems such as this in the future?

Maybe so we only have serious takers some sort of deposit would be required. When $$$ is involved people are usually more motivated to follow through. The down side is this puts extra work and I would imagine expense on Gavner, which isn't fair either.

    Just spit balling here.

I would like it to continue since I'm sure there are many serious takers on the list.. and personally, I'd like to be on the list.. but it was long as is.. it's even longer with some people using them far longer than agreed upon =(
