I'd love to continue this demo and compare these cables to my shotguns. I was next in line so I'm so looking forward to a restart.

Sad thing is everyone that didn't keep on track was all well established Polkies.

Maybe a restart with a reoccuring WEEKLY fee to ensure they move along as intended. I know a couple attack dogs we could use for those that delay or cancel the demo. :)

It shouldn't have to go that far. We're all adults and should be able to keep our word. It shouldn't have to be so difficult of a demo.

Do we want to continue this demo? If so, how can we avoid problems such as this in the future?
While I can not speak for others, I would personally like for the program to continue. I would like to thank you for taking the time and effort to do this for members here, including myself, if the time comes. I'm sure those who have demo'd appreciate it as well.

As to how to keep it rolling? I have only one suggestion. Appoint an established person on the forum who volunteers and is vouched for to keep the time line straight and reviews flowing in without creating a fiasco. This shouldn't be too hard for that volunteer. It should also not take up much of your time, IMO, since you have been so kind to offer it in the first place.

If others here will vouch for me in keeping things on track to the best of my abilities without rocking the boat, I will gladly place myself at the last place in line. That should give me plenty of incentive to keep things on track as I would really like to keep this going and hear them in my rig. If someone else is chosen, no hard feelings will be had as the main goal is to keep the ball rolling and get some reviews in. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

    Tom.

All persons that would like to demo the cables should be required to supply their full name, address, email info and 2 phone numbers to a Club Polk member that Gavin puts in charge of the program. That info will be sent to Gavin as well. The CP member that is in charge will be responsible for making sure the cables move along at the proper times.

In addition, a valid credit card should be required. If you keep them past the designated time, guess what, you just bought some cables.

If you fail to post a review within 2 weeks, I will personally show up at your door with a ball peen hammer in hand. Either that or you will be banned for one month.

I do apologize for not posting a review. I really thought I had as that was always my intention. I can't find my notes so the original review was lost.

I can recall being extremely impressed at the contrast in overall sound compared to my MIT Terminator II's. I also recall the CVT's to have a bit too much energy on the top end for my system the way I had it configured back then in comparison to the T2's. The CVT's as I recall had an even better 3D soundstage compared to the T2's and there was something different about the bass............I'm sorry but I don't recall what it was.

I do recall agreeing on almost every point with Ricardo and his observations.

Wish I could recall more concrete info.

Bottom line is MIT cables are the best cables I've ever used and I am a lifetime MIT user. My next purchase will be a pair of Shotgun speaker cables. I use MIT I/C's even in my modest office rig and they sound better than the Signal Analog II's I've used for a long time. These particular MIT's may be out of some peoples price range but all MIT's seem to offer better performance compared to similarly priced other brands.

I hope the demo can continue because hearing is believing.
