Sony BDP1000ES Bluray Player $99 at Bestbuy

I just picked up a Sony BDP1000ES Bluray player on clearance for $99 at Bestbuy magnolia. Great Pick up YMMV

    Brand New!!! Someone mentioned it on another forum and I went to today when I picked up my martin logans on clearance also.

    I was at a bestbuy with a magnolia store. Ended up walking out with an entire martin logan front stage and that blu ray player for under 900 inlcuding center and tax.

    I have that same 1000ES. I paid $170 for mine and thought i got a great deal. I think you will be impressed with it.

    Not yet. I probably will in a few. Looking for the amps I want. I currently own 2 Adcom GFA-555II and a sherwood newcastle A965 7 channel amp. But I am wanting to switch to B&k reference. I want the 200.2 and the 200.5 amps. They have some nice prices on the used market so I am just trying to find the best deal possible as well as the one in the best shape. I will say I heard the ML Purity's running on a denon receiver yesterday playing the Live music Bluray of The eagles and was blown away. I hope I am happy with the sound as I really enjoy the KEF's I own now.

    Thanks, I will run a blue in a few. I have owned sony players in the past and absolutely love them. This player saved me a couple of hundred because I was going to shoot for an oppo but saw this deal and snagged it. I will eventually get the new oppo 93 whenever 3D projectors become mainstream because that will be the next time I update video.

    Mole,

    I wouldn't rest on the over the phone answer. They guy that helped me saw none on the computer but walked back to the warehouse and found two new in box sitting there. Might be worth a trip.

    give them the sku#9500453 not the model number. Called earlier and they had no idea what i was talking about, then got the sku from AVSforum member and they said they had 2 in stock.

    There are a couple of Magnolias on the way to Pa. and on to P-fest. I'll have to stop in and take a look. May pick one of these up...and if they have extra stock I may pick up one for the raffle at Polkfest. What do you guys think? Chances are though; I might not find 'any'?

    Definitely go to the store. When I called the first time they couldn't find it. Second time I called with the sku and it came up as 2 available but they sent someone to double check but they couldn't find them. After that I went in and they had 2 sitting right by the counter.

    So go check for yourself.

    They also have a Pioneer Elite 141 60" plasma, regularly $6000 on sale for $2500. I almost bought it as it's a steal at that price.
