Hi,

I'm new to forum.....I have a pair of RTA-12 speakers and another pair of Monitor 10's.....in 10 out of 10 condition, both of them. I'm not sure if I will sell shortly, but would really like someone in the forum to let me know what I could get for them. Really, they are perfect. Thanks alot, and God bless. You can post reply here, or to my regular email. Gordon Smith gjsmith@mind.net

They are worthless. Send them to me. :D

Seriously though, do the 10's have stands? Can you post a pic of them? The tweeter can make a difference in the value.

Past eBay/Audiogon sales are a good way to value your stuff. Dropping hints in your first post that you might want to sell something is not welcome.

Maybe we could address the selling/valuation problem by creating a sticky with hi/med/low kelly blue book type info?

I know it frustrates some of the seasoned members to see people sell their stuff on the sly with a wink and a nudge, but 100 posts is a long time to wait without spamming these boards mercilessly for most people. Clearly, such a list would be dependent on a number of factors such as location and condition, but we could come up with round numbers of what to ask for, can't we?

    Don't take it personally.

The folks that have been on this forum a long time have seen many posts like yours which usually really mean "hey, I have something for sale, buy it."

We have rules on the forum governing when people can sell, as the idea is that this is a community, and sellers are held to their word. It's about trust.

There are many outlets for selling gear locally and on the Internet, and it's really not that hard to search various sites, including this one to get pricing info.

If you are seriously interested in Polk products, or audio in general, or just like "hanging out" with good people, then stick around for a while and participate.

Your reading comprehension skills seem to need a refresher course.
