I just got a pair of FXi50's from Crutchfield for $350 last week. They should still have some...

    I can't see why they wouldn't blend.

There isn't THAT much surround audio.

I'm going to say no as well, but will also tell you why.

The RT line up are 8 ohm speakers, the Lsi are 4 ohm speakers. That could cause you some problems right off the bat.

Second is that the Lsi series use Vifa Ring Radiator Tweeters, your Rt seies do not. They are in no way, shape, or form timbre matched. Yes it does make a difference, but how much is debatable. My opinion is that for the best possible sound, use matching speakers. Rt with Rt, Lsi with Lsi.

    Hope this helps.

Thank-you Frank I was looking into the 4ohm deal to see if that was a problem. And I wasnt sure about the Tweeter how much it would be diffrent since I have not been able to listen to any LSI speakers =(.
Living in Canada I think the online retailers are out for me I'll end up paying 3x the cost with shipping and duty brokerage fees etc. and I picked up my FXI30's for $250 cdn just cant find a pair of 50s.

    Dan,
Have you considered putting the 30's on the sides and using a pair of direct radiating speakers on the rear wall? A pair of 28's would work very well for rear channel duty, and they would probably cost less thana pair of 50's.
