NO THANKS! I'll pass!

Talk about soundstage and dynamics robbing!!?!?!?!?!?

Huge difference between in the conditioner and out of the conditioner.

I take it you never used an Equitech Balanced Power unit. I guarantee your opinion will change.

    Hmmm...

The MIT does good on the sources, but the Monos consume quite a bit of power...

    Talking about mains ac?
I have never used a power conditioner (apart from my belkin “pure av” filter cheap plug thingy)
But i fail to understand how they make a huge difference when the power amp has a conditioned power supply. Often with capacitors holding enough charge to run the unit for seconds after it has been unplugged from the wall.

But power amps don't have a conditioned power supply, some have regulated power supply's. Big difference between conditioning and regulating. Perhaps you got the two terms mixed up.

I don't know of any (amp) power supply's that also condition the AC.

    And you tried which one(s)?

I also have a 2.4 kVA balanced power unit on a 20A circuit powering my entire system. Better than all the others I tried and much better than directly from the wall outlet.

I've had the Equitech Son of Q running in my system since '05. I wouldn't think of running my gear without it.

I think balanced AC has a lot of merit.I have 500VA Plitron xformer I will be using for my source components.

What your thinking of is the filter/storage capacitance used to filter out the 120hz ripple,it is completely different than AC power conditioning. Some amplifers will have a small capacitor placed across it's AC input's neutral and hot. It's purpose is to provide some filtering of RF but it can't be considered elaborate line conditioning.

Yeah, and there are a few others out there that actually improve the sound, as well. I use the low end BPT. Highly recommended.

Yep, these balanced power units are the real deal!!! You can't go wrong, the improvements in audio & video are not subtle to say the least. Highly recommended also!
