Something wrong with the schools in Fremont or is English not your first language?

You will need a set of RCA (analog) cables, run from the pre out connections on your AVR to the power amp. They can cost from a few dollars to tens of thousands.

It's unfortunate when folks waste other folks time with meaningless posts. I guess he'll find out soon enough how unfortunate when his stuff doesn't sell.

Hopin someone can field a simmilar question from another noobe. I picked up a pioneer92 with the intent of NOT getting an amp, the more I research, the stronger the urge. Oh, what the hey, I can't fight it anymore, looking towards the emotiva xpa-2 or 3. Question is, does the amp have its own sepperate volume control, or is it run off the receiver volume ? If not controlled by the receiver, how do you ballence things out so the channels not driven by the amp are not drowned out by the ones that are ? Thanks ahead

Probably not with R50's.... (ok, a little - but in that system, it would not be the best use of your money.) :D

Your reciever should have "pre out",,that way it controls the amp, which does not have a seperate volume control. In other words,, the "control" portion of the rec. vol/bal/etc,, controls the power amp. Good luck.

    Hi Woweu.

    Forget Monster and Phillips.

Go with either Blue Jeans, Signal, Monoprice, Sonic Wave @ Parts Express, Zebra or Element.

    Say Wow!!!!!!,

Have you by any chance 'read' your own post 'history' because "I" have. Just what is it that you're up to? So far you've been interested in getting an Acurus power amp for your LSI-25s; then you had ordered a great set of RTI towers and center at a deal that "we" could also get if we called a 'number'. One of you're original posts had a .com sales link? Then you had a post telling us how R50s or R300s, I can't remember which? Were the best SPEAKER Polk made better than than those overpriced pretender RTIs and LSIs...and what a great price you could get them to us?

Now you 'don't' know what kind of cables to use (been reading the cable threads here, have you?). I would think that someone who owns almost the entire inventory of current Polk speakers could answer that question. Don't you?

Brilliant !! Haven't tried that one yet, tried the old 20.00 price tag on the new toy trick " look what was on sale honey, an 1800.00 amp for 20 bucks ! I saved us 1780.00" now I deserve a nice dinner and a backrub :D
