Problem with docking iPhone

I've gotten two iSonic ES2's now after I shipped the first back. Most times when I dock the iPhone and then remove it, the next time I turn the radio on, the screen dims to the lowest settings and then I have to go into the settings and raise it up again. Also set the alarm to radio this morning and the tone alarm went off. After snoozing it, the radio came on the second time. Can anyone let me know if they've had these problems.
