Best wishes. Try to have them check your back out while you're there. It can take several days, weeks even for you to notice some injuries from an accident like that, since it can leave you in a slight state of shock.

Sorry to hear about the accident James. I am glad to hear that no one is in a "critical" condition. That said, I pray that you make a speedy and full recovery. Lighman1 is correct, continue to listen to your favorite stuff as it is good therapy (IMO better than any chiropractic "adjustments"). Get well soon.

"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Thanks again for all the well wishers. I'm feeling lousy. Found out yesterday that my ankle is fractured...I'm in an air cast and a knee immobilizer until I go to the surgeon today. In lots of pain, trying not to move and feeling helpless. Haven't had time for much tunes since the rig is downstairs, and moving about the steps isn't so easy. Hopefully good news later today, but based on the pain, i'm not too optimistic! Thanks for the support club polk!

    Pycroft,
Best to you and a quick recovery. I do hear some mental anguish in your postings. Be careful with any pain relievers - for some reason they can become addicting.
