I'm not saying he shouldn't have got pulled over...I'm saying the dude got out of the car and pulled a gun and was yelling at him to get off the bike 3x before he even said he was a cop...and he still didn't show his badge.

I still don't see how the rider is in "the middle of the road" at the end of that video. The officer got his cruiser as close as possible while still being in a safe position and then turned on his flashers and got out to help. It's not goddamn rocket science.

 I didn't say anything about the cyclist being in the middle of the road "at the end of the video". I was referring to the cyclist's location when the cruiser stopped, which was the point of my comment about my not buying the suggestions that the cop's maneuvers were to protect the rider or the cycle or to see if the rider was OK.

This stillshot is when the cruiser came to a stop-the guy is essentially still in the middle of the road (pretty much right where he went down) and the cycle is still exposed.

And I wasn't mad about what the cop did, just puzzled about the actions. I'm not sure where anybody got that idea. Whether the officer was doing their job or not wasn't the question. It was about why he maneuvered in such a way.
