The one you that you listen to over and over again? Listening to it sort of brings back to mind the first time you made love. Something totally unforgettable.
For me it is the recording made by George Winston in the "Autumn" piano series. The first hearing was magical and the nth hearing remains just as magical. Just like making love.

Its a good question actually. it took me a (not so short) while to gather my thoughts.
couldn't possibly narrow it down to just though, so two is the best I could do.
1. "And justice for all" by Metallica.
2. "OK Computer" by RadioHead
I don't necessarily think those are the best albums ever, but definitely the two I never get tired of."If the global crisis continues, by the end of the year Only two Banks will be operational, the Blood Bank and the Sperm Bank. Then these 2 banks will merge and it will be called 'The Bloody **** Bank'" -

Too many "firsts" to really pin-point a favorite. Usually I will fall in love with a particular song or album and listen to it over and over until I eventually move on. Later down the road subsequent listening brings back memories of that time and place. All sorts of songs bring back different memories. It's all good.

even though I rarely listen to it anymore, I think that the Who's Who's Next is the epitome of all rock 'n' roll recordings (although I wish it sounded better). When it is all said and done, it is probably still my favorite.

For me it's Van Morrison "Moondance". It's similar to reading a really great book, you wish it wasn't over when it's done.Yep, my name really is Bob.

Pink Floyd, The Wall
Eat a Peach, Allman Bros. -
Paul Simon - Graceland
The Clash - London Calling
The Cure - Disintegration
Talking Heads - Speaking in Tongues
The Pixies - DoolittleI never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore -
Don't know that it's my favorite overall, but BOSTONs first album never gets old to me--it stands the test of time far better than the vast majority. There would definitely be some Zeppelin in there as well, they were so ahead of their time. Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac, the list is big....Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Queensryche "Operation Mindcrime"
Rush " Moving Pictures"
Triumph "Thunder Seven" -
I know "Greatest Hits" album are generally frown upon, but Little River Band's "Greatest Hits" somehow sounded soooo good from start to end. I am not a LRB fan given that this is the only album of theirs I own.
I also have to add....
Van Halen - 5150
Dire Straits - Brothers In Arms -
"Crosby, Stills and Nash"
-
YES - Tales From Topographic Oceans
There is just so much there to enjoy, and with the shortest song being 19 1/2 minutes there's a lot to enjoy in each of the 4 songs. It's a great "teaching" album and I enjoy it very much.
Greg
Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Been a long time since I've heard New Riders of the Purple Sage mentioned by anyone. Definitively an early "girlfriend!"
