Ok, apparently the black wire is positive. Seems backwards but I'll roll with it. Any way to more easily get the wire connectors off of the leads? The skin on my fingertips is not very happy right now lol.

Finally, got all the drivers in, although I ran into some complication. Some of the drivers did not arrive in the best of condition. Will do the xovers and tweets another day, I am too busy to do it now. Everything sounds good so far though. Listening to some Victor Wooten now

Ok, anyone have suggestions for a good substitute for Mortite? I've been to Home Depot, Lowe's and a few local hardware stores and no one seems to carry it. Most people didn't even know what Mortite was.

    This stuff:

I just really pushed the Monitor 10's hooked up to a 200wpc vintage Sansui receiver, and WOW. Talk about depth and dynamics. A big difference from my 50wpc NAD and LSi7's. These speakers will play loud and clear if pushed; they handle this monster receiver with no real issues. I'm very impressed with both of these pieces. The Sansui hasn't even been restored yet (it still has audible distortion, but not too bad) so I cant wait to hear how this sounds after I get her restored and put the Peerless tweets/ xovers in the M10's. :)
