Just one (of three) "piles" of boxed audio gear ready to move. Show us your sickness.

I don't have pictures of the stacks of gear in the basement waiting for the rest of the house to get finished. It's not that impressive though and most of it is allocated and used so no boxes either.

    Joe,

Half of what you see there is boxed vinyl. Everything left of the B-3 (4 high), plus 2 boxes deep as a base under all the Revel gear.

I'd have to stick a feather up my **** and hover over the mess to snap a pic that would do it justice! :D

I envy you! I've saved every flippin' box (and insert) for any gear ever purchased in our downstairs store room (that now looks like a dance hall.)

The entire right side of my shed which is huge is from floor to ceiling with empty boxes as I always keep the boxes for all my gear. I never did get the boxes for the 1.2TLs but if I did they'd be in there too. I do however have my RT2000P boxes in there much to the chagrin of my wife.

No more shoveling snow and lots of hot chicks. Congrats on the move.
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Hi Chuck! I know that you know the agony of a long distance move for sure.

We're relocating to Sarasota, FL where we've had a second home for a little longer than a year.

The hardest part has been convincing Sandy that I am scaling back the 2 CH rigs when she sees the "piles". Things grow exponentially in scale when properly boxed.

Lack of boxes isn't my doing. Most of my gear is used only a very few items came in original boxes. No sense in saving a Proctor Silex toaster oven box for a Rotel Pre-amp.

Hi Mike! Long time. If I lived closer, I'd find some way out of helping you to move...LOL j/k of course.

I don't have much stuff anymore. Just what I use upstairs, in the family room and downstairs. I'm just an audio enthusiast, not his rabid cousin, the audiophile.:D

    Hi Rich and Cathy. Thanks!

Our new home, though nearly the same size as our Maryland home, is "Florida style". High ceilings, big rooms, and few walls. The more "stuff" we pack, the more we're looking at each other and saying "where is this going to go?!" And, that's after giving away to charity and family literally tons of "stuff"!

Once we finally get settled in, I have a suspicion that I'm going to divest of a lot of 2CH gear. There's just no time to deal with that before the move.

Pile II - small family room HT "stuff":

Now would be the time to do a smash n grab......everything all in boxes...heh heh heh....

I've done my best to unload most of the extraneous stuff...just got a few loose pieces here and there. I don't have enough time to listen to multiple rigs, don't watch enough movies or TV to care about HT and lack the energy to swap out components let alone speakers.....however, I swear that stuff multiplies on its own.
