the flip side of the best rock song ever.. is the really bad kind.

what do you consider to be the worst rock song from the rock and roll era. circo 1950's to say 2000's. ??

not a group that you hate.. but a song that you despise so much it makes you wanna poke your ear drums out with a sharp pencil

The Macarena. Even while that song was popular I declared a 50 foot "Macarena free zone" around my body. Violators will be punished cruelly and unusually.

Whatever that damned song is where they go "whoo-whoo" every two or three seconds FOR THE ENTIRE SONG!!!

Arrgh! I run for the volume knob every time I hear it, leaving behind those curly cues you see in the cartoons.

Fair enough. I have something of a knee-jerk reaction against the infamous 80s power ballad. Its like nails on a chalkboard to me...

Yep that has to be it..

    My votes would be:

    The Who: Who Are You
Kiss: Rock n Roll all night
Both of these songs suck, if you did a shot of alcohol everytime they said the same lyrics you would be on the floor by the end of the song..

I wanna rock n roll all night and party everyday,
who are you who who, who who
I wanna rock n roll all night and party everyday,
who are you who who, who who
I wanna rock n roll all night and party everyday,
who are you who who, who who
I wanna rock n roll all night and party everyday,
who are you who who, who who

Oh man. I would file divorce papers immediately.

I actually made a joke to her about that. . . She immediately responded how she had to put up with my "audio crap" all the time, so the least I could do is enjoy it with her. Good thing I had a full bottle of Maker's Mark.

    Really???:(

XYZ: the first album is fantastic!!!
    Steel Heart: my favorite vocalist..
Great White: another great rock n roll band.
    Ratt "the first album anyway"
Motley Crue "the first 2 album's"
Tesla great Rock N Roll band
Heavy Bones "only one album but it kicks **** and is hard to find"
Cinderella: Long Cold Winter another great rock n roll soul band.
I will even go as far and say Twisted Sisters first 2 albums rock it hard.
and I am not talking that stay hungry crap I am talking Under the Blade and You cant stop Rock N Roll.

There are some great Hair Metal bands from the 80's, the rise and fall started with Quite Riot they brought it main stream, But they started the death of it as well.. and Twisted Sister's Stay Hungry LP brought the death even closer.
and Poison, Enuff Z Nuff. it became a **** circus... and some good bands had to follow in the glam to get recognized like Tesla and Cinderella..

Thank God we had Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth,OverKill, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Kreator, Merciful Fate,Saxon, Queensryche. ECT.... and even some of these bands slipped up here and there..

I find it ironic that I like every song that's been mentioned. The only rock I don't like is the stuff with the "singer" screaming or growling. Typically the music is good, but the vocal track is intolerable.
