I just got word that B&W now has headphones for the Ipod. Seems that they are going with a little more main stream buy offering something that might appeal to more and more of the youth and price conscious and introduce them to their brand. I think I might get a pair to give them a go.

I would like a set that weren't for the ipod, so i didn't waste money on the controller. And idea of the price on these?

Interesting, I bet these would be good on Flights. I was considering picking up the Bose head set for noise canceling but these might be a better choice.

    Thanks Buddy

The price is said to be around $300 and compair to ones that are higher priced but then again don't they "ALL" say that? I would bet though that B&W would be putting out something that would compete with the higher priced ones. I know I will be seling my higher priced Sienn. IE8's and getting these. They are Ipod phones because they have the jack to plug in to it.

It says that it has iPhone compatible remote control. It also looks like the cord is removable. Is this right?

3.5mm stereo mini jack (on cable)
    2.5mm mini jack (on Headphone)

    Could be handy I suppose.

Klipsch has in ear, but nothing else. Maybe have a look at those. Has Polk ever done any headphones?
