I'm not sure how him living with his mother was on topic about him dying, but to each his own.

    I'll quote myself here.

I think the fact that at 38 he was living with his mother...NOT to take care of her...but for her to take care of him...is sad...and is just another indication of how screwed up he was.

You apparently don't have any concept of what addiction is....

That is exactly what I was referring to. A 38 year old man that for whatever reason (addiction, whatever) is being cared for by his mother is certainly not the norm...we are not talking about a pure physical issue, but something else that has screwed his life up.

Obviously I was incredibly wrong and shortsighted and inconsiderate of everyone involved, as has been mentioned by my peers.

I'll just stay out of all future conversations.

If you don't like what's posted in this thread, say your piece (which you did) and move along (which so far you haven't). Atleast everyone has stayed civil

Sheesh............this place is now going overboard in the opposite direction. Let's try to meet in the middle. Nothing in this thread broke any rules..........atleast as I intepret them. Plus, this is the internet and I thought the comment was funny.

The psudo self deprecating isn't necessary...it's a difference of opinion...no more or less.

It's tragic, to me, in the same sense that anyone that young dies.....but his issues were 100% of his own creation.
