Not sure if anyone else watches this show. I began watching it two months ago, and already finished both seasons. It's now one of my favorite shows definitely recommend it. Season 3 is starting in two weeks.

I started watching it at the beginning but fell off halfway through season 2 because of when it was scheduled to be on and the fact that I had house stuff to be taking care of. I've been meaning to go rent the DVD's or find the shows somewhere to catch up.

It is a very good show though.

I just re-read your initial post. I should have mentioned that all of season 2 has been on demand. For at least Time Warner and FIOS that's how I watched the second season. Looking forward to Sunday.

It's pretty pointless to watch new eps if you haven't watched all the old eps. It's a character driven show and you really need the character history for it to all work.

Wow, it just hit me how little TV I watch. I've never even heard of any of these.:eek:

You've never heard of the Sopranos?

That has nothing to do with "not watching TV", that's more like "living in a hole in the ground."

    Chris do you have cable?

I watched my dad rot in front of the TV smoking 4-5 packs of cigs a day. It's all he did. When I was a kid I vowed not to let that happen to me.

I watch sports (hi def cable) and movies on my blu-ray. Other than that, I try to keep away from the darn thing!:rolleyes:

That would be great but I refuse to give Comcrap more money than I have to and therefore do not have digital cable thus no on-demand. FiOS is not available at my house right now either. So none of that helps me.

For me, I hit the torrent servers and watch the episodes there or grab them on re-runs. But last season, the show was on during Dirty Jobs and/or Deadliest Catch and I'm sorry but Mike Rowe (he's my hero) and the boys up in Dutch Harbor win out every time.

The good thing about shows like Dirty Jobs is that they are re-run a lot, so if they conflict with another show you can just catch them some other time :)

Watched the Marathon over the weekend on AMC and then watched the season opener last night. I'm hooked!

Anybody still following this? I missed the first half on Sunday and caught the second half on the encore real late. Finally saw the first half last night. This is, hands down, the best show on TV right now. Just when I think the story is going to peter out, the writers run out, give you a purple nurple of a twist and shout "Stick that in your eye and smoke it!" and then I gotta watch next week.

I can't believe Hank offed the Cousins in a supermarket parking lot! I hope his character isn't dead. He's gonna piss off an entire cartel before he's done.

That entire scene was one of the most tense scenes I've ever sat through. I definitely thought Hank was a goner (Breaking Bad doesn't seem like the type of show that would flinch at killing off a main character).

No, it doesn't. They already did. I thought that Pinkman's girlfriend was going to end up a "partner" but they offed her with a drug overdose and made it so that mild-mannered Mr. White who couldn't bring himself to waste a drug dealer who was trying to waste him just hours before watched Pinkman's GF die, choking on her own vomit, and did nothing.

    Hardcore, man.

Breaking Bad is as gritty as the first 3-4 seasons of the Shield. The later seasons of the Shield were great too, but the early character developement was just as awesome as Breaking Bad. The Shield is one of my all time favorite TV drama's and BB is following suit.

OK, I saw a preview of the series last night while watching Terminator on AMC. The "Cousin" who had his legs and pelvis smashed by the SUV was dragging his legless self down the hallway. At least that is what I thought it was. Anybody else see this preview?

I specifically avoid previews for any show I'm interested in. At worst they give away too much, and at best they're misleading. The creators of the show are RARELY if ever involved in what makes it into the previews and I've seen previews give aawy MAJOR plot points that I would have much preferred to have been exposed to through the course of the narrative rather than beforehand.
