Bridged amp question, please help!

I'm still pretty new to home audio in terms of higher end stereos and amps and wiring. I understand the basics of how everything works, but here is my question. I have my Carver amps bridged one each to my LSi15s. Each amp has a left and right channel level meter on it. Since the amps are bridged there is only one channel going through each amp.(signal coming from my carver preamplifier). So if I have my understanding of the wiring correct up to this point, shouldn't both meters on each amp move in concert? My right channel amps meters are not moving together. What's my problem and how do I fix it? Please help, I don't want to ruin my beautiful LSi15's!

I don't believe those amps are rated to drive 4 ohm loads when bridged.

I would not bridge the TFM-15cb into a 4 ohm load. You should biamp them into your LSI's.

For some reason, biamping them never crossed my mind. That will be and easy fix and sould wake the LSi's up even more. Only bad part is now you need 2 pairs of cables. Better look into a better CD player too, youre not doing your speakers any justice with that old Sansui.

Thanks for the input guys. New cables are already on the agenda, I'll just need to buy more it seems. I hadn't really thought about a new cd player. But I know I could definitly do with a better one. So maybe that will have to be the next big purchase!

So are you saying they are 4 ohm stable when they are not bridged? I believe they are, but I could be wrong.

When an amplifier is bridged does the impedance not halve? The amp will be seeing a 2ohm load, which i don't think many amps will do...
In terms of audio, i truly feel sorry for the visually impaired. How can they know what they like if they cant read google?
