Does anyone know the part number for a RTi70 replacement tweeter?

It is the SL6511. I have been looking for one (two actually) for over a month. Polk does have them though. They run $70 shipped "Club Polk price"

Just to be clear, is the "replacement tweeter" you are referring to the exact same tweeter used in the RTi70s or is this an "upgraded tweeter", similar to the RDO's being better replacement tweeters for the SL2000/3000 series on the SDA's?

If it is really an "upgraded replacement tweeter" as opposed to a replacement part, I may have to check it out on my 70's!

$140 is almost as much as I have in them. I don't know if it's worth it to upgrade them of put a couple hundred more in and get something new.

TheSL6511 is the 'stock' tweeter that came with my RTi70's, at least in mine.
As far as I know there is not an upgraded version.

You could try Polk CS, but I seem to remember Kim telling me there was just the one.

Well, jm, do you only need one, so that is only $70 for some pretty good speakers.
If you need both, it would cost $140

Interesting...So, you got the SL6506's as replacements for what speakers? RTi70's? Cuz I know the SL6506's are the upgraded replacement tweeters for the RT55i's, that is what Kim @ CS told me.

I recently bought two tweeters for my RTi70's. The tweeter number is SL6507 and I paid $68.48 each, its the club polk member price.

    Directly from Polk:

    SL6511 - Stock

    SL6506 - New replacement part

SL6507 - Will fit, but sound might not match. So you'll have to replace both tweeters if you go with this one.

    So there you go.

Do you have it listed in the Flea Market? If so, just provide a link. Otherwise post an ad as this isn't the place. Thanks.
