Ghost Ship

I picked this up at blockbuster (WS) and was surprised, I actually enjoyed it! I know it did not do to well at the theaters but I gotta kick out of it. The 5.1 soundtrack is surprisingly well done, some of the audio effects are really great. Lots of dripping water and spooky creaking and groaning coming from the surrounds...no not that kind of groaning...perverts! The kind that you expect to hear on a Ghostship! Not sure about buying this one but it's a worth a rental!
Spoiler Ahead!!!
The scene when the tug explodes is very cool!!

Hey Justin,
Remove this thread please! -
This movie "suck", not much of a story, where the "heck" is the decent acting now-a-day? Don't waiste your money on this one.

Enjoyable as a one time 'free' rental. Nothing there for any repeat viewings. The opener and the topless scene is about it, you can fast forward through the rest and not miss a thing.

Frank,
I agree with you. I too enjuyed this movie enought to buy the DVD. The cable sequence was filmed incredibly. The slow motion was very clever. Sound effects are also real and I only have a two channel system! I am also looking for the sound track.
