Man, this would not be the way I would do it. It's your choice and I'm not trying to say anything other than this...

When I stopped listening to reviews and I started getting my ears on different speakers? That's when my audio journey took off and I'm much, much happier for it.

What's bad is, when that is not an option. All I have to go on are reviews. There is only one HT store I know of within 3 hours of where I live. I went there when I first started looking into building a system, and they were total jerks. Apparently I didn't look the part of one of their elite customers. They literaly wouldn't even demo speakers for me. When I asked what brands they carried, the guy just said we don't have any speakers under 1500$ a pair and walked away.
I guess a T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers are unacceptable in the world of high end HT.

Yrs. ago I was thinking about a 8k or 12k pair of B&W but the local dealer joked about a 46.00 problem I had with what he sold me a day or two earlier. He still doesn't know what his attitude cost him.;)

Not here. It's been raining all day. I'm sick of all the water. Pretty soon I'll be able to take a swim in my back yard.
