Why don't you ask your question on that forum? That's rhetorical.

Dude.... read the threads. You don't want to start this.

The vast majority of us have no beef with the company. I sure don't. I don't like their products, but i won't bash them. Read, and you'll understand.

That and allot of Emo fans swear by light it's best thing on earth to happen to Audio. I almost bought one but they wouldn't ship to me. At the time I was looking for inexpensive, low profile, etc. , but they would not work with me on shipping. I went with a new Sunfire and am very happy.

Is this in response to F1nut's reply? I think it's a perfectly valid question. So what if somebody else here got those e-mails. How would that further your understanding of what's going on? I think your time would be better served e-mailing Emotiva or picking up a phone and calling them to find out what the situation is.

granted. but it was a rhetorical question so no further info could be gained by that poster. why respond? i think my curiosity was to whether there was some sort of game between the two forums that i am unaware of and don't care to get involved in. i though it was a simple and straight forward question. a simple answer would have been appropriate like say no ..or i don't have a screen account there..or even yes would have worked. when i obtain the information needed to make an educated decision ill make it on my own. i don't feel the need to explain my actions to anybody just a simple yes or no answer is all i am looking for.

You get an email about a potential issue at Emotiva forums and you automatically think that Club Polk may be at fault? :p

I'm unsure the association between the "breakin" at emo lounge and club polk.

But one could speculate that it is rather ironic that their boards may be closing down during what is shaping up to be the most turbulent times for them since I've been paying attention. (new umc-1 owners have been reporting re-occuring problems and many have suggested that there was in-sufficent tsting done by the company before release)

    I got the messages too.

I don't think the OP meant to insinuate that CP is the "breaker-in-er," simply that there are members of this forum that also have accounts on the Emotiva forum (myself included -- though I have a whopping 10 posts there.)

My guess, someone managed to break into the forum, and send the second message.

I couldn't care less really; I don't ever put super secret information on free forum accounts.

I agree with F1. Why in the hell if you get some sort of stupid email about the emo forum would you come here to ask a question about it? That makes NO sense.
