The RXE050 is the replacement for the RDE050A that is listed in the schematic.

With this particular polyswitch the non-tripped resistance is higher by about a factor of 4, compared to the RXE135 which is the polyswitch part number in most of the other threads discussing polyswitches in 2.3TL and 1.2TL, where 1/2 ohm is the consensus value to use as the replacement.

1/2 ohm would work fine, but a value larger than the polyswitch non-tripped resistance seems to be preferred in the case of the RXE135 replacement in the 2.3TL and 1.2TL.

    Here's a source for poly switches, http://www.mouser.com/Tyco-Electronics/_/N-1z0zls9?Keyword=PTC+Resettable+Fuses

Right, the RXE135 has a non-tripped resistance of 0.3 ohms. I found that I preferred the sound using a 0.5 ohm resistor, YMMV.

Thanks, probably go with the resistor this time.
