Sure, rub it in (pun intended).

You're lucky, I don't think there are 16 BBQ places in my entire state, much less one small area of it :(

FWIW, I love that show BBQ Pitmasters, too.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

I don't know.....the article seemed to talk about the briskets as much as or more than the ribs. It also doesn't specify whether they are beef or pork ribs in several instances either.

Rudy's isn't on the list, so the list is crap.

I wouldn't trust "D" magazine to find dog crap if they stepped in it.

#6 Angelo's. When I visited Dallas, the friend I knew there was from Ft. Worth, so that is where we went. Funny, the main thing I remeber were the ice cold Bud. The food was good, but that ice cold beer is what I remember best.

But as said above, brisket is roast beef. If you want BBQ there needs to be pork involved.

funny, the guy who started #11 the bbq pit worked for angelo's. most of these places do have pulled pork but in texas it's brisket, ribs (pork), and maybe sausage.

I sure miss those BBQ joints in DFW area, sure glad we are getting some good ones up here now. We have one called "Serious Texas BBQ" and it sucks. but we have some others that are great.

The only thing Rudy's does well is breakfast tacos.

The best bbq in Tex-**** ain't in DFW, you need to be scouring the hills west of Austin and the area between Austin and Huston off of 290.

I've been to 8 on the list. As far as DFW goes I think it does a pretty good job. Still DFW is not where Tex-**** BBQ lives.
