Adcom GCD 600 static

Hello,
My Adcom GCD 600 has started to display static in the right channel only.
Appears to get worse as it warms up. A local shop told me it was the D/A
converter so I replaced the chip (TDA1541A), but still has the problem.
Any help appreciated.
