Marantz AV8003 Networking AV Preamp/Processor

Anyone know when the AV8003 next gen will be released or what the model will be?

We are still a few months early but wondered if anyone has read previews.

    I have read or heard nothing about it. I'm interested as well as I thought the AV8003 was almost a perfect fit for me

    No previews nor news nor rumors at this point. But based on Marantz track records and history, it would be a long while, considering it took them 8 years to go from AV9000 to AV8003.

    There are several upcoming Pre/Pro slated for this year roll-outs: Parasound Halo C3, Sherbourn (rumor has it that it is a repackaging of an Emo). Halo C3 supposed to be released last Summer '09, now it got pushed back to Summer '10.

    I recently bought AV8003 to have something in the interim, really wants to check out Halo C3 since last year. So far, I am pretty impressed with the Marantz, specifically on the analog. I'd like to stay in the analog domain which is only a few Pre/Pro still doing it. Even B&K REF70 is now completely in digital domain.
    I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    Thanks for your reply guys. Based on the 8 year lag mentioned, I won't plan on a new release this year.
