I just ordered my psw505 from Newegg for $229.00, I am hoping it is a good match with my Yamaha rxv1800, rti1000 powered towers, cs2 center and fxi3 surrounds. I have a Velodyne vx10 that I bought for $70.00 when Circuit City was going out of business and it just doesn't cut it. I am a little worried about the ups shipping, they throw around packages like they are trash. I cant wait to get my hands on it and run it through some test.

As corrected in the other thread.. this deal is only good until 11:59p tonight! The deal that is good until 02\28 is the combo purchase with speaker wire (which voids the coupon code btw). Get your orders in quick! :D

Great hook up! I got the Monitor 40's this morning. Wish I had the room for the 70's, but I've got a custom cabinet setup and am limited to the size of the speaker that will fit into the built in cabinetry.

I was STOKED to see that coupon this morning, because like you I almost pulled the trigger on the cherry speakers yesterday. But now this morning I got my whole new setup of black Monitor series speakers on the way! I got the Monitor 70's for my mains, CS2 center, Monitor 40's for side surrounds, and Monitor 30's for Rear Surround - grand total: just $710 delivered!

It is a great deal, IMHO the Monitors are Polks best valued speakers available to people on a budget. My rig is all Monitors and I have been nothing but pleased with their performance.

Well, I hooked them up and all I can say is WOW!! They sound great at all volume levels, match my PSW10 sub perfectly, and just plain look cool! I am going to watch Public Enemies tomorrow evening, should be in for a treat. ( I will have to warn my neighbor next door as we are in a row of connected townhomes, share a wall)

Just finished installing my two R/L Surrounds last night. (M40's) Set up is as follows: Panasonic G10 54" plasma, Yamaha TX-V765, M70's, CS2 and the 40's. I plan to power up the Receiver for the first time this weekend. Plan to perform YPAO calibration as recommended. I have not had a sound system of any kind since aquiring a HK 650 and a pair of Bose 601's. (still working in the bedroom) Any suggestions on calibrating would be greatly appreciated. Newegg has a new loyal customer.
