Vampire binding posts come highly recommended.

I just received some Vampire 1.5HEX (14.35/assembly) from Sonic Craft for my Mon. 7Bs along with caps & resistors to do the crossovers.

I stumbled upon this thread looking for binding post information for my Monitor 10's. I hope someone can answer a related question.

I have a broken binding post, and would like to replace it. How easy is it to replace using one of the Vampire posts mentioned above? Can anyone provide some basic directions? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am tired of using a pair of vice grips to hold the speaker wire to the post!

It will take about 15 minutes and is pretty easy. I would replace both posts and that speaker, and on both speakers, if yo plan on keeping them awhile.
Probally the hardest part is cleaning out the the glue inside the "Cup".

you take out the Xover (disconnecting drivers of course.
Squeeze the small tabs on he white plastic clips holding the board to the cup.
Gently rotate the Circuit board up so you have access to the back of the binding post.
Clean out the hot glue covering up the nuts of the binding posts.
    Unscrew the old posts.
Screw in the new post with the connectors remounted on them.
    Reverse process.
    CRANK IT UP :D

Thanks for the installation info. Does the length matter of the binding posts matter much? Vampire BP Hex or Vampire BP Hex 1.5?

I've got the 1.5 Hex, but both work fine.
