Well the only benefit of all this damn snow is the fact I got the day off. I needed it.

I planning a good day , I'm gonna drink a cup of hot tea(in progress) then hit my basement gym for some Kung Fu and some weights. Then have a nice breakfast with the family. Shower then spend some quality time with my system. I haven't sat down and listened to some music in a while I think thats going to be on top of my list.

Sounds great....Enjoy! I've only been able to hear a few minutes of good music here and there....on the other side of the earth as far aways from my system as is physically possible for the year.

Well, the Helpdesk here cannot remain unstaffed! With a sales force up and down the east coast, someone has to be here to support them should they call. Sure we have on-call and pagers, but that's not good enough! Couple that, with the fact that I live about a mile away from work, means that I get no snow days. As a matter of fact, I picked up my boss this morning because she didn't want to drive.

Some day, I'll move further away so I get my snow days back :)
    Ludicrous gibs!

Enjoy your time off! Today is only the 2nd day, in my 18yrs, that I can recall our operations being shutdown due to weather. I 've joined The Club today and want to say hi to all. I'm looking forward to experiencing and exploring all that's going on. Thanks for your time and knowledge. Gonna crank up the good ole 10B's now and jump on the treadmill for a bit. Brian

    Welcome to the forum Brian.

Anyways plans slighty changed of course. LOL . I made breakfast for the family , Eggs over easy spiced with Onion salt , Pepper , Garlic , Black pepper , Fried Potato's spiced about the same way but cooked in Olive Oil and butter at the end with fresh Onion and Chopped Garlic , wheat toast and butter all rounded off with a array of Orange juice , milk and hot tea. Yeah we ate well. Then I played a little xbox 360 and decided to upgrade my system a bit.

So here is what I'm doing. Since I got the Apple Tv , I have not used my Universal remote Ipod Music server so I uninstalled it. I'm gonna get rid of it as I have no use for it now. It's badass with being able to make playlists and all on it but That would be the 4th ability to play the same exact Library of music. So it's out. Then I started thinking about sharing all my gear with the masterbed. I would run a Mac 6 which consists of Component , Audio , Composite and Cat 5 bundled from Audioquest from my head end to the Master bed tv. This would allow my Cablebox and Apple Tv to be viewed in there. This is cool. I also have the ability to watch any other source but then I would have to add a few more component cables to my system which I see no need in doing. The SC-07 has zone 2 component video out and zone 2 audio out so I have both the cablebox and Apple tv wired with HDMI for main zone and component and analog audio for zone 2 and video out zone 2. Cool right?
Easy run as I have a wide open 9 foot basement , masterbed tv is hung on wall but I have a wire path already drilled out and I hooked to just lay the wire in. How cool is that. Maybe a 15 min wire run total.
In the Masterbed I have a MRF300 which is Universals RF brain and IR router. I have a MSU400 in the theater and a MRF250 in the basement. I cover the entire house will all that RF ability and it even reaches out in the garage. NICE.
Funny as all that will be coming out soon and Control 4 is going in. I'm also replacing all my Lutron Lighting Spacer system controls with C4 lighting. Thermostat and some cameras around the inside and outside of the house.

So I took the day off but I didn't take the day off from what I love to do.

    Funny how that works.

Always playing, sounds like an interesting day with some good fun had. I bet it's going to be nice when all is said and done. I tend to play around in the HT when I'm off also. Well, at least you had an awesome breakfast.
