Still coming over during the height of the storm, Gordon?

    :D

I'm going to play it by ear. As I'm sure you can see, it is snowing now and I do have to go to work in a hour. Saturday is another story. If there is more than 6 inches on the ground probably not. I just don't trust drivers around here.

Since this session has taken us almost a year to set up, I'm disappointed.

    ....the Snow has STARTED.....in DC - 11:11am

Hope we see scenes like this.

Can you imagine if you dug your car out and someone parked in YOUR space!!! OUCH !!!

That seems like too much effort! Where the hell you gonna go?

This is all so funny to me...
I honestly wish something like that would happen here.
No you don't! :) I remember an east coast storm that pretty much shut down the whole east coast from the Carolinas to Canada. Sometime in the late 80s early 90s. Had been to Utah skiing and on our way back home. All east bound flights from west of the Mississippi had been canceled for 2 days. We hid Dallas/Fort Worth for a connecting flight and lucked out as it was the first east bound flight that was able to depart on time. Luggage was stacked up in huge piles on the floor with lots of people sitting around with tired and disgusted looking faces. Had to divert from Dulles to Baltimore because Dulles lost their runway lights. Then getting from there to a friends house for the night was of course interesting with even the plow truck drivers sticking them in the ditches. Then needed to work my way to northern PA but 81 and 15 were closed for another day. We are used to lots of snow, but not so much so fast. Our municipal snow removal could not keep all the streets cleared fast enough, so it got to a point that they could not use the plows and had to get bucket loaders. When I made it to my home it was a narrow plowed strip of a street. But not being home my driveway and sidewalk still had all the storm dumped, still on them waiting for me:eek:, so I had to wade through ball deep snow to get to my shovel, and move a 1/2 ton of snow just to get my truck off the street.
So trust me, you do not want something like this.:D
