If any of you non-East Coast Polkies grew up loving Wise, now's your chance to get the product across the nation! We're gearing up for a week-long promotion that's going to put Wise products in every Wal-Mart Supercenter across the continental US. The promotion is running Feb 7-14th. If it's successful, this could be our foot in the door at Wal-Mart.

Say what you will about Wal-Mart's sales model, but this could mean huge increases in production at an American company. In case you're wondering, all Wise products are made right here in Berwick, PA... and nowhere else :)

Sorry about the mini advertisement, but I thought some of you might want to know.
Ludicrous gibs!

We did send one to every Polkie. You just have to go to Wal-Mart and pay $2.99 to get it :p

Interesting fact - The bags of chips you'll see out West are not filled with as much nitrogen as the bags we sell locally. In order to get over the mountains, they had to be filled less, or they'd pop as the trucks climbed. This was just one of the special considerations we had to make when shipping our product further than we have before.

This is also why if you buy any of our product from our eBay store, they will only ship ground, not air.

I just bought Wise salsa at a Food Lion in rural eastern NC. Hadn't seen Wise products in forever!

And BTW, UTZ's Kettled cooked are the BEST chips ever, with Middleswarth BBQ a close second.

I grew up in Pa. probably ate my weight in Wise chips more than once! How's that for an endorsement!

I knew they were a Pa. product...but never bothered to read the bag to see where in Pa. So now I know.

REALLY wish we had some in China!!! China has Wal-marts..you know! A whole NEW market for you boys! Something to think about.

The potato chip is catching on here but some flavors can be weird by American standards.

If that W-mart thing works out....hit Beijing next, PLEASE!

George Grand, as usual, Hits the nail on the head.

    This was the industry standard!!

    Good Luck.

Sadly, CNH, unless we literally shipped them on the slow boat to China, they'd never make it! You can't fly potato chips, or the bags will pop, and the cheapest way to get them overseas otherwise is simply to make them there! Which won't be happening any time soon...
