Well I bought the amp today after doing some research I think this is the path I want to take. After doing some research it appears it is a Nelson Pass clone not an exact clone but the design philosophy is from a Threshold design of yesteryear. Not an exact copy as N.Pass stated but none the less the philosophy for the design was from the man himself it appears.
Nelson Pass:
The Usher has a different front end - it is biased by different current sources
and uses current mirrors off the input stage and has a differential VAS. The
first does not regulate as well, and the last two create a higher open loop
gain (for more feedback). The bias system is different and is placed after
the drive stage, not before.
The output stage is pretty similar though. -

I have a Rotel rc-1082 pre, rc-1072 cd player, mmf-5 turntable with dynavector 10x5 cart and acrylic platter. And for cables MIt avt-3 bi-wire, audioquest king cobra RCA for all components and audioquest NRG-2 power wires. Usher X-718 monitors for sound.

And yes I did buy it on audiogon seemed like a great price and appears to be in perfect shape as well.

I really liked the Usher pre-amp when I had it and figure the amplifier would be equally pleasing. That's a very nice setup MontoyaCTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
