RT2 speaker with diminished sound

One of two speakers connected. The speaker has very diminished,muted sound. Is this an internal problem. It is a new "used " unit that I have hooked up and I rewired the speaker every which way in case I hooked it up incorrectly...No LUCK !! HELP. Would like to do myself if possible.

What electronics and you using to power it? Are the settings in that correct?
Make sure all the drivers are working as that would definitely diminish the sound.
