Looking for a nice tube pre preferably with a remote. I'd like to stay under $500 but that's not set in stone. The remote isn't set in stone either if it's a great deal.

Thanks.

    WHen George speaks I listen:cool:

I am just trying to help daboyz locate one as I feel I own him.

Craigslist in Rockford is pretty slim anything electronic.

If his not interested in the Wright I might have a lead on another ANthem Pre 2L but so far the owner has not contacted me.

Thanks Tracy,,he,he,, i'm not sure that many people listen to me,,lol,,I have a Wright, and lemme tell you that when tweaked,,they are incredable,,dead quiet, fast,,accurate, not bright.Well,I guess that I have beat it to death at this point,,if daboyz does not pick it up,I will,,as they are pretty hard to come by these days,,paired with the phono pre(tubed),it is hard to beat until you get up in the 8k and above components,IMHO.All are PTP wired, with a circuit that is easy to follow.Enough of my rant.Good luck in your search.

If you can wait, I may have something for you. And no, not the Dodd. :D

I'm thinking about selling my Mapletree Line 2A with upgraded attenuators and filter cap, but it will be a little over your budget.

Having owned both a couple of times,, I prefer the Wright,, more features, very detailed, quick, and I like the tubes(6SN7's),,plus it's tube rectified, and has a swithch to decrease the gain,if necessary.YMMV.

Reminds me of a saying, where you are at I have been before.

I am on the look out for a tube pre with remote for Dave so we all need to keep our eyes open for a great product for Dave.

Dave outside of your ideal budget but worth consideration. I had given up on finding a Belles 21A and here it is just over a week later.

It really is Dave and it comes with extra tubes and I have a butt load you can try. That one has the Auricaps which I think is one of the things that makes sound sooooo good.
