Thanks. Well, it sounds bloody awesome! Clean and crisp with deep articulate bass. I love my current setup. I've been through a bit of gear to arrive at this. Of course, I'm still always planning my next upgrade.
great looking dedicated room! Awesome choice in pictures for the walls also. I have the same CD racks. A true bargain from Ikea!

Also thanks. The pics on the side wall are fabric covered acoustic panels from audimute. For an upcharge they let you pick the images (which I did). Yeah, I love the racks from Ikea. Solid metal and only $7 each. I've got 2 more waiting to be installed. The shelf over my equipment rack is also Ikea sourced and looks great.
    Where is the subwoofer?

Obviously you've never heard Dynaudio Contours before. :) They put out some serious bass. But very tight and controlled. More than enough bass for this little 11x14 room. Actually I cannot imaging wanting more bass ever.
Oohh - Dynaudio contours....how do they sound?

I'm a big Dynaudio fan. I've tried B&W, Monitor Audio and Spendor before I tried Dyns. Then I went through a few models of Dynaudio before the Contours. The other speaker brands I tried were all very very good and all had great qualities, but not until I got Dynaudio was I satisfied top to bottom. And the Contours are just fanstatic. I really can't even see upgrading to the Confidence line as the Contours are that good. Obviously, it's all a matter of personal preference. Dyn just does it for me...

Glad to see you are using the Dyn stands for the speakers. Did you mass load them? If not, you should.

I have that power conditioner, or one very similar, in my HT. It amazes me that the Sunfire TGA-5400, AVR pre/pro, and Oppo BR only draw 1.7 amps even when it is blasting. I have been thinking of swapping it with my 2 channel power conditioner to see what it draws, but I do not like the fact Panamax does not allow you to turn the lights off on this model.

    What does your system draw?
Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
Sony XA-5400ES SACD; Pass XP-22 pre; X600.5 amps
Magico S5 MKII Mcast Rose speakers; SPOD spikes

Shunyata Triton v3/Typhon QR on source, Denali 2000 (2) on amps
Shunyata Sigma XLR analog ICs, Sigma speaker cables
Shunyata Sigma HC (2), Sigma Analog, Sigma Digital, Z Anaconda (3) power cables

Mapleshade Samson V.3 four shelf solid maple rack, Micropoint brass footers
    Three 20 amp circuits.

WOW that must have been a mess. Is it reptile sand? I've used it before and found it to be very dry but a mess nevertheless that's why I use bird shot.

Wasn't too big a deal as I already had about half what I needed from my old stands. I used regular playground sound from home depot. But it was not even close to completely dry sand. Had to bake it to get all the moisture out before loading the stands...

Clean I love it. I'm a long time owner now past owner of Dynaudio. There stereo reproduction is 2nd to no one. If and when I build a 2 channel system , Dynaudio is on top of my list.

I suggest looking into a Sub 300 to extend your low end. This will give you even more depth and room filling sound. I know all about every single model Dynaudio makes for the last 10 years or so. Adding a sub will absolutely make it better. They are fantastic on there own but don't overlook adding a sub.

Beautiful room man, I like the way you hooked it up. Nice job

Be careful with that type sand as it has the propensity to absorb airborne moisture and become moldy. That's why I asked if you used "reptile" sand as it doesn't hold moisture.

In any case it is a awesome and beautiful system.

Thanks friend! Great to hear from a fellow Dyn lover. I'll have to keep an open mind about a sub...
