I have for sale a like new perfect condition Pioneer SC-07. Bought it in may of last year and has never been abused. No scratches, dents or dings. I'd rate it 9/10 only because it's used. Comes with manual, mic, and remote. I don't have the box so this will be local pickup only. I'll post pics later

More info on the unit can be found here:

Asking $825

that seriously is the best price I've ever seen on the SC-07. I just bought an SC-05 for 800.00 so just wow.
Good luck with your sale Lee!

I've got two SC-07's, one in the bedroom setup and the other in the basement. I'm currently moving and I don't want a different system in every room anymore. I'll be able to run both music and HT systems in one room now. I'm also trying to fund a " Tubes Rule " project for my SDA's without spending any of my own money.

I bought it Sherardp...Im going to put it in my family room, where I do the most TV watching. I have a Pioneer BDP-23FD on its way to match it with, VM30's, VM10's and a CSi5 center to spread the notes with. Im sending my B&K 307 down to the basement, and possibly putting a Sunfire Cinema Grand - Onkyo PR-Sc885P system up fo sale, (i'm thinking REAL HARD on that one - so this is NOT a sales pitch, I may just put the B&K up instead or NONE!!!).

Anybody want some NONE....Free of charge.....you pay shipping and handling :)
just kidding on that joke...hope everyone can take a joke.

Lee has been VERY helpful and informative. Thanks LEE!!!

    Any Pioneer SC-07 recommendations Sherardp?

When you receive the receiver can you give a review, including how it compares to the B&K.

Congrats on your purchase. When you get it do a hard reset of the unit, then run MCACC. After you run MCACC, go into manual setup adjust speaker size again and run MCACC again with your settings saved. That should get you off to a great start bro. Enjoy and congrats again, it's a very nice AVR. I have mine paired with a Sunfire TGA5200 (center and surrounds) and D-Sonic Magnum 1000S (fronts).

Pioneer SC-07 Review, just for you Mike (and anyone else that cares :))

    Where do I start?
Audio....Fantastic, this slick looking receiver packs a punch with GREAT Wolfson Dacs. I started to hear things from my speakers that werent present before, you can say it brought them to life. Calibration was easy to do and the manual calibration mode allows you to fine tune this Bad Boy down to the inch!. It was definetly an ear opening experience and what a pleasure.

Video, easy to hook up and assign your components. Setup was extremely easy, just hook up the HDMI's, assign them in the menu and enjoy. The Foroudja video processor does its best to upscale the Standard Definition channels and it does a GREAT job, though some channels still did not come out very crispy (I have Comcast..enough said).

B&K AVR-307 & AVR-507, these monsters pack power, and plenty of it. They can also drive 4ohm speakers. The B&K's are very well built units. They only have component inputs (no HDMI) BUT dont let that make you turn one of thes BAD M'fers down. There is a reason why I have two! They can upscale my SD channels extremely well, (maybe even better than my SC-07). What I love about them is that you can buy a Pioneer Elite BDP that has 7.1 analog and feed those to it and WALLAH....Burr Brown Dacs ya'll!. If you get a chance and they fit your application, don't pass one up. The AVR-507 has On Screen Display, newer Dacs, and obviously more $$$.

I obviously could go on and on and be more specific, but the wife is starting to call my name and I have to get the kids to bed...school tomorrow (my 4 1/2 year old pre-schooler just received the Citizens Award!!!...proud parent here:). Let me know if you have any specific questions. I'll try to answer them as best I can.

    Thanks

    Juan
