I felt fortunate to have about 9 months of work last year (2009).
Not sure what will happen this year.

As far as the Gov't and politics , I lost interest when Ron Paul left the game.
Not happy at all about the proposed healthcare , as far as that goes.

Back to post one ..... Gov't workers not getting raises.
I understand that you don't get paid alot to begin with , but that is not my , or anyone elses's fault.
I know some have had to take non-paid furlough days , but I have yet to hear one* that had to go 3 months without a real paycheck. BOOHOO :(

*(except the damn few gov't workers that do lose their jobs)

So , some how , it all balances out.
I make damn good money when I have work and when times are good , it is great. I budget for the bad times. That is how it is for trades workers.
The gov't workers don't make alot , but that paycheck is trusty as can be.
